INTRO

My name is Brandon Brown and I'm a transfer student from Texas A&M. I'm from the Austin area originally. I'm interested in art, skateboarding, bicycles, and cold beverages. I've read a bit of poetry but not nearly as much as I'd like to. I'm a big fan of Theodore Roethke and William Blake. I read a bit of poetry for my English class last semester, but I also have read some on my own time. I'm hoping that this class gives me the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of awesome poetry and I'm also hoping that the professor makes studying the works enjoyable and relevant. In this class I would like to work on my analytical skills and familiarize myself with the various criticisms regarding the works. This class wasn't my first choice but since I registered as a transfer student, I didn't have very many classes to pick from and this class seemed to be the most interesting out the different courses that were availabe. I'm looking forward to the class and the semester!
